On a 10 mile hike through rural area where people generally know their neighbors but he wasn't a neighbor so, one of them called the police to report two armed men they didn't recognize walking down the road.
When a resident reports suspicious activity, the police have to investigate. So, the approaching officer didn't know what was going on with the two men. Maybe they were rustlers. Maybe they were burglars. Maybe they were highly dangerous fleeing felons whose car had broken down.
Guilty until proven innocent, eh?
If the man was carrying a shotgun, would this have happened?
Around here, if a man is walking down a remote road with a gun, everyone would think they are hunting.
Uh huh
“Gee, I saw this Black guy driving an expensive car, so I pulled him over to see if he had stolen it. I mean, heh heh, what Black dude has that kinda money, or job, to drive a better car than *I* do?”
Yeah, construct an excuse and flaunt your badge and sidearm.
Great cops you kneel before.
You’re right and i do value officer safety. I just cant understandwhy he had to abruptly and brusquely physically manhandle this father in front of his son. This involves a loss uv face.
Why did he need to suddenly grab him?
It seems that stopping, peering at his id and consulting a database should have done nicely —a mature , adult interaction.
Bad people have always hated cops but now also some good people do so, also.
Its sad and america should not be like this.
Rustlers? On foot? Were there any cattle in the area?
Burglars? Was there a burglary reported?
Highly dangerous felons? On a 10 mile hike?
You're reaching...
And carrying a rifle sling arms. Suuuuuure. If he was any of the what ifs you claim then he one would not be carrying the rifle in the open or if he was one of the bad guys chances are he would have opened fire on the cop. Did’nt happen and the cop was able to walk right up and take the weapon. That’s bullshit.
