You make good points for discussing the reality of the field arrayed before us, so I'd like to address some points you made.

They don’t want to be left out of the ruling class during the coming attempted purge.

There is truth to that. However I think that because the root core of the Leftist/liberal ideology is to impose their religious morality on us by any means possible, they have more in common with the MarxoFascists than we would probably want to admit.

As a whole people and a nation, we no longer have a common view of either morality OR liberty. As such - replacing God with Government becomes a moral imperative for the imposition of their ideology on the rest - by force if necessary.

our states aren’t completely powerless and owned by the Feds. I understand we don’t really have militias that can check the Feds. But the layers of federalism provide some extra resistance in many parts of the country.

That will be put to the test in very short order. Mark. My. Words. We are going to see if states are willing to forego federal monies and if they have the balls to resist Feds coming in to take over their state should they refuse to comply with whatever edicts the Beast decides to enforce.

we have the most armed populace any government has ever tried to impose its will on. It is a case of first impression as far as that goes in my opinion.

Right. Waco comes to mind. So do countless other examples of raw unbridled tyrannical oppression that we now are in the habit of shrugging our shoulders at. TSA anyone?

Nope - the fact you have a gun in your hand means nothing if you are not willing to pull the trigger. The will is everything. I see no willpower to resist what is already being imposed on us. I have doubts that when REAL misery and pain are imposed, whether this people would be willing to risk what is necessary to resist.

Or, like most societies gone over, the promise of bread will be more important? Want to fly? Drive? Earn a living? Have a bank account?

Comply or get nothing.

ON the flip side - a breakout of violence gives the MarxoFascists what they want more than anything: JUSTIFICATION for what they intended to do all along.

We waited too long to put a stop to what is about to happen to us when the cost was minor. Now it is going to cost us possibly more than we can bear.

If these Soviet style radicals push it too long they won’t be able to hold off the coming resistance.

They have already expected and accounted for that inevitability. They have already planned for it. That is what all the demonization of Conservatives, Tea Party, Vets, gun owners, Christians and Whites is all about: conditioning the masses to accept what is going to be done to put down any resistance.

All a nation needs is 3% committed patriots for a successful revolution (in this case to follow the outline in the Declaration of Independence) and the overthrow of a tyrant.

Without national repentance and a cohesive cause in foundational principles - we hope for such an outcome in vain.

And we have been trying our best to work within the system peacefully, but when it becomes obvious all you know what will hit the fan.

Because it is not self-evident to most, and because a majority of Americans now see nothing immoral or wrong with Socialism, (Hope and Change was applauded), few to none of them know, care or understand there is no civil way to work within the system. Most of this people want their 'fair share', and they do not care how they get it. Going to government to get a handout or subsidy is what they think redress of grievances mean.

Personally I prefer a tin pot dictator to overplay his hand over the dangerous incrementalism usually employed by the left.

We have a dictatorship precisely BECAUSE the incrementalism over the decades has prepared the field for them to do what they have done. Obama has already seriously overplayed himself, same thing the Senate did this past week. Nothing is going to be done about anything except more of the same empowerment of the Beast to 'solve the crisis'.

They can slow cook the frog in the boiling pot all day long in this country. But there are some things you just don’t do.

When the frog is fully cooked, the tyrants can do whatever they want to - which is what you are witnessing by and large.

If anybody is dumb enough to cross that line it is this administration. May God help us and grant us favor should that happen.

They already have many, many times over. What final line is it going to take? Health care? The economy? Your job? The demonization? Criminalization? Guns?

They cross the line when they know they have nothing to fear in retaliation. It's how bullies operate. It's how this Beast operates.

We don’t know what particular spark will land on the tinder by the gunpowder, but all the parts are in place.

So it’s too late?
I’m all ears for solutions.
And I agree the process is a total farce.
The 17th Amendment really screwed federalism on so many levels.
We need divided layers of government to protect individual liberty.
I understood that concept in the 9th grade.
So what do we do now?
