Several schools in Decatur, Morgan County and Limestone County are dismissing due to a suspicious situation at the Daikin facility on Highway 20.
Police say a suspicious device was found attached to a rail car at the facility. The rail car contains hazardous material. No other information about the train car involved or the nature of the device was immediately available.
Police say the estimated potential danger zone is 25 miles. Current weather conditions indicate that the greatest danger area would be to the northeast should an explosion occur. The intersection of State Docks Road and Highway 20 West can be used as a reference point.
yep ... gotta take every look at evil.
We need to go on high alert until every evil package is captured or destroyed! We cannot allow a package gap!
No worries here ... We are and will be on high alert. My promise. I’m with the Air Force, we build Night Clubs. Into the Great Wide Open, Under the Skies of Blue.
It’s official: welcome to The List...
Amen to your comments.
Hey, if I can help save just one child from a suspicious package....
Still love your tagline.
I’ll go out on a limb here and state that, if the package had been a bomb and had remained undiscovered, you’d have been among those whining that it had not.
Come on in off the limb. Sorry to disappoint, but no. (Please be advised that all suspicious packages are subject to confiscation and destruction).
