The Obama administration once gave us "man-caused disasters" for acts of terrorism and "workplace violence" for the Fort Hood shootings. Now it has trumped those past linguistic contortions by changing words to mask the Obamacare disaster.
The president and his advisors apparently knew long ago that millions of the insured would face cancellations or premium hikes once Obamacare would be fully implemented. Yet to get the 906-page bill passed, they had to convince the public of the very opposite scenario. So they repeated ironclad guarantees that no one would lose their coverage or doctors -- "period!"
Now the administration explains the deception by going after both the ethics of the insurers and the intelligence of the previously insured. That task required language to be altered. The newly canceled health plans are suddenly rebranded by the administration as "subpar." Only in autumn 2013 is the supposedly unaware public told that, years ago, "bad apple" insurance companies sold them "substandard" plans.
According to Obama, millions of Americans were once ignorant or uninformed, and thus will soon be pleased about their cancellations: "So the majority of folks will end up being better off. Of course, because the website's not working right, they don't necessarily know it."

Yes, you can shop for something you are being forced to buy in a marketplace that is severely restricted by onerous and unnecessary laws and regulations with subsequent inflated prices and deductibles. Gee what a great idea/s.

Even if this were true and only an idiot on a par with Joe Biden could believe it, how about those few “folks” who know damned well they are worse off than before, when they cannot get care for a condition that will be fatal without care are they supposed to rejoice because others are doing well?
It is amazing how the same people who claim that any expense is justified, “If it saves just one live, after all you can’t put a value on human life, blah, blah,” will turn around and say that it is good when “most folks” benefit even if some others die as a result. Liberal fools take whichever side suits their purpose at the moment and then accuse conservatives of doing that, they project, project and project some more.

I recently re-read the Nero Wolfe books. In one, an American Communist Party group figured. Archie Goodwin pointed out to Nero Wolfe that one of them lied when he questioned him. Wolfe said, "Of course he lied; he's a Communist." That book was written in 1946 IIRC.
Obama and the left are truly Orwellian, twisting language beyond all recognition and meaning. Lying is much easier when the meaning of words are completely malleable.
Everyone thinks that Obama Care is a failure, but in reality, its working flawlessly.
1.They know that a give-away policy, once enacted, will never be repealed. So it doesn't matter if it "works" or not, the money faucet has been turned on wide-open for ever.
2. Fixing the website is an endless project with an unlimited un-appropriated budget, that people will demand be fixed no matter the cost.
3. The navigators are being set-up, providing a federal footprint in the inner cities. These agencies will expand, hire unqualified people and pay them lavishly, and engage in graft, cronyism and influence peddling.
4. Private insurance and, by extension, free enterprise have been painted as evil. This sets the stage for single payer.
5. The mechanism is in place for complete control over our lives through the cost of "risky" behaviors like eating trans fats or owning a gun. The feds will have your complete medical history on file, with instant updates.
All is working to plan as Dr. Evil says.
