The FBI is releasing photographs from a robbery that took place today, November 19, 2013, at approximately 2:15 p.m. at the BB&T Bank branch at 5600 N. University Drive in Lauderhill, Florida.
The robber entered the bank and demanded money from an employee. Money was taken, but the amount will not be released at this time. Customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery.
Anyone who has information as to the identity of this robber is urged to call the FBI at (305) 944-9101 or Crimestoppers.
Had we arrived at the time we planned on, I could have gotten a Selfie shot with the bank robber in the background of the frame.
Or gotten yourself killed.
Guns are rarely used now. The days of Dillinger are over.
We lived in Lauderhill in the early 70’s. ‘Sure is a different place now.
It would have been hilarious if the FBI posted among its pics of the bank robber, one pic of Your Truly grinning for the Selfie with the crook in the background.
This happened in West Lauderhill, where many escaped to (my family included) after the fall of old Lauderhill in the ‘70’s. No place to escape to anymore. I got out of there many years ago.
You could have taken a selfie with the nice man in the flak jacket in the background.
;-)
No mention of the perps race but I just had to KNOW he was black without even reading. Enough said.
Where have all the GOOD blacks gone?
“Where have all the GOOD blacks gone?”
To church. That’s where I meet them.
Work. That’s where I meet them.
BB & T is one of the most liberty-oriented corporations in existence. It’s chairman hands out copies of Atlas Shrugged to new executives, and its charitable division funds the teaching of Ayn Rand’s books in many Universities. Usually its fight is against a larger-scale looter than this particular robber: The U.S. Government.
