Lol. Yes, it is.
You are SO unbelievably lucky to live in a country with a constitution instead of an emir, rajah, king or el dictator.

It's all relative, I suppose.
For those who've never left the nest...the USA...it's SO easy to find fault. We live in cotton wool, safe, secure, snug in our constitution, military, courts, police and ... lawyers (??).
I always say: GO LIVE ABROAD in a 3rd world country for a while and see how their laws and enforcement are.

Maybe then you'll stop whining complaining bellyaching scolding our cops for doing their job.

Your moral relativism is ridiculous. Those countries don’t have our Constitution. The Constitution is the standard our laws are weighed against not third-world hell holes. Our Constitution didn’t come without cost either so “luck” has nothing to do with it.

These were not cops. They weren't even Federal agents. They were Federal bureaucrats. Do you have reading comprehension problems?

But you seem to have no problem with cops who violate that constitution that you praise so highly.

I did not realize that shooting people who had not violated any laws was part of their job.

Collecting samples without a warrant is doing their job?
I live in the USA and follow the laws therein. I expect others to, as well. The 4A is there for a reason.
I cannot believe you think this was all right because it is worse elsewhere. That makes no sense.

You are an idiot!

I served my country for 22 years — TEN of them abroad.

We are NOT other countries, and the US constitution is THE ULTIMATE law of the land. The 4th Amendment is part of that ULTIMATE law and cannot be violated just because some cop wants to do so.

Those who violate, including cops, government officials and even the US Military are DOMESTIC ENEMIES whom I SWORE to oppose.

Yeah, we get it, you are the wizened world traveler. Guess what? Lots of us have been around the rough block too. And we learned why it matters that American police live up to the highest standards and we will accept nothing less.

Those lines of yours might work picking up peace corps girls, but this is a tougher crowd.

Why do you think it is the 'job' of our police to spend millions of dollars (borrowed from overseas, with interest carried into perpetuity by future taxpayers) randomly collecting DNA samples from motorists?

And if you're curious, I have lived and traveled overseas. I won't use piss poor governments abroad to give mine a pass at home for doing things it should not be doing.

You’re joking right? That has to be the most idiotic thing I’ve seen in a long while here.

Dude, you scold... Scratch that, resist cops, judges, courts, politicians in order to preserve our rapidly dwindling exceptional ism.

Now I know I have tangled with you before on civil liberty issues.

I am trying to be nice. I am trying to not have my head explode.

Our cops are acting more and more like they are patrolling a third world country.
