A bombshell report published in the New York Post alleges that census data relating to new jobs created during the month of September, 2012, was “faked.” The fabricated data, the report indicates, resulted in the sharp reduction in the nation’s unemployment rate in October, 2012, from 8.1 to 7.8 percent. On Tuesday, White House Press Sec. Jay Carney said that there was nothing to this report. “That story is obviously misleading,” Carney told ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl. “I think a lot of people shed a lot of credibility engaging in conspiracy theories last fall about, you know, rigged jobs numbers.” Carney

IF we had a party worthy of being called the majority, they would start issuing subpoenas against census bureau flunkies. Call them up, one by one,either they testify or get locked up for obstruction of justice. If they lie, lock them up for perjury. Then wait until they implicate their bosses.
Worked for the RATs in Watergate. We are past harmless two-bit burglaries and into “treason, high crimes and misdemeanors” territory.

Since I have been consciously aware (nixon administration on), I have NEVER seen an Administration with so many “phony scandals” and “conspiracy theories”. Transparent and ethical my arse.

Well when it has worked so well for them, why should we expect the liars to stop?

Well, people need to be told truth, and that truth has to be more truth than just that the latest political lie is in fact a political lie. Lies, because they self contradict, are fundamentally confusing. Truths clear the mind. A certain amount of clarity is needed to be able to resist lies.
Ultimately (I am unabashedly Christian about this) it has to be the Way, the Truth, and the Life. But there are ways to get folks nearer without shoving a cross right in their face on very first encounter. Though those who are barely Christians can be usefully edified (built up) by encouraging them in various ways to begin to recognize that God is worth more than a polite amen or two in a church building. You can start there, but God sure doesn’t want you to finish there!
I guess I’m getting on a tear here. Heaven is waiting to pour out SO much victory. But we have to be willing to carry it out to the world. We aren’t made to be victorious in vacuums. We must share, share, share the victory till it kills us (figuratively or otherwise) if we are to be maximally blessed.
One of the amazing phenomena of our present time is how a complete buffoon like Carney ever got to the position of being the White House voice.
Shows where our quality has gone. The White House is the new malaise era GM...lots of plastic, no quality control, and illusions of engineering.
Carney is also a telling litmus test for us.
We really ought to be laughing him down as the fool he is and not even bothering to be polite any more. There is a point where nothing else makes sense. Sure we are long suffering and are not quick to do it. But this present day Baghdad Bob has been on duty HOW many years???

The point of the story is that the Census Bureau data were fabricated, not necessarily to make the Administration look better, but because it is easier to make up survey data than to actually conduct interviews.
