APOPKA, Fla. (AP) George Zimmerman was charged with assault Monday after his girlfriend called deputies to the home where they were living and claimed he pointed a shotgun at her during an argument, authorities said.
The girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, called 911 in the early afternoon to say that Zimmerman had smashed a glass table, threatened her with the shotgun and ultimately pushed her out of the house, according to an arrest report. After pushing her out, Zimmerman barricaded the door with furniture and refused to leave, saying that he would talk to police by phone, authorities said.

The police report says that he was NOT in possession of a firearm.
He was not in possession of a firearm when the police entered the apartment, which was after the girlfriend had exited. The police report says nothing regarding whether he had a gun at the time the girlfriend said he did.
See post 82.
So, let me get this straight. You condemn the girlfriend as a ‘plant’ and a ‘prep’, with no evidence. But, if someone takes the opposite position, you’re nit buying it unless they have personally examined the barricade? You’re hilarious!
“You point your gun at my fricking face,” Samantha Scheibe is heard telling Zimmerman on a 911 call. “Get out of my house. Do not push me out of my house. Please get out of my house.”
Seconds later, she told the dispatcher, “You kidding me? He pushed me out of my house and locked me out. ... He knows how to do this. He knows how to play this game.”
Moments later, Zimmerman called 911 from inside the barricaded house to tell his side of the story.
“I have a girlfriend, who for lack of a better word, has gone crazy on me,” Zimmerman said.
Zimmerman then said he never pulled a gun on his girlfriend, and that it was Scheibe who smashed a table at the home they shared. He also told the dispatcher that Scheibe was pregnant with their child and that she had decided she would raise the child on her own. When Zimmerman started to leave, “she got mad,” he said.
Deputies used a key provided by Scheibe to unlock the door and they were able to push through the barricade of items, Lemma said.
Apparently, she was already near the door so the easiest would be to put her out. He still needed to finish packing his stuff. Remember when he tried to get his stuff from his wife's or inlaws' house. Just throwing out a scenario.
George is an idiot. Stop getting played you moron.
While deputies were outside, banging on the door, trying to get him to come out, Zimmerman called 911 and blamed Monday’s dispute on his girlfriend, 27-year-old Samantha Scheibe, whom he said had “gone crazy on me.”
The couple had been living together in the home she rented on Topfield Court near Apopka since August, said Seminole County Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma.
Scheibe was pregnant, Zimmerman told the dispatcher, and had decided to raise the child on her own. He wanted the parting to be peaceful, he said, and began packing, including a bag in which he had placed guns, but Scheibe then went out of control, he told a dispatcher.
“She just started smashing stuff, taking stuff that belonged to me,” he said.
While he was still giving his version of events to a dispatcher, deputies unlocked the door, forced aside furniture that he had used to barricade himself inside and took him into custody, Lemma said.
Lemma said Scheibe is not pregnant.

U folks are missing a big possibility. The fight was about sex. She(the hot one) was an opportunist that wanted to hook up with this non-looker. She got what she wanted. What did he want that she wouldn’t give? ZThink...
Answer my question. Are you a professional? An M.D.?
I'm not taking a position on what did or did not happen here, but if what you said above is true, where did the gun go? If he barricaded her out of the apartment, and himself inside, and there was no gun found inside the apartment, where did it go (a shotgun, no less)?
I do not know how much time elapsed between the alleged barricade situation and police response, but if it was immediate then it raises other issues.
She has nipples....... I believe her
He wasn’t in the right in that scenario. He can get his stuff at a later time. You can’t lock out the owner of the apartment just because you can.
I have no idea what he has done or will do, of course I wasn’t there. I have seen some pretty violent women and a man that is trying not to hurt them is often desperate just to get clear of them. If she went off on him, and he had walked out she could have just went out behind him- no solution there. It is a lot easier to shove someone out a door and lock it than it is to leave and keep them away while you are trying to get away.
Some have said old girl friend and new girl friend are the same woman and the media is wrong about her being new. I don’t know one way or the other. Sounds to me at the very least he is not good at choosing women. I find it strange that he is portrayed in the media as an abuser of at least three women but none seem to have a mark on them, unless I have missed something.
I do believe where there is smoke there is fire or at minimum smoldering. I don’t think he is innocent of everything, I think he has to be doing something to cause/escalate this type of drama.
She wasn’t. She handed the police a key which they used to enter the house.
>>Zimmerman should move out of the country. It’s obvious that Holder has it in for him and he’s being Alinskyed.<<
Holder didn’t make him point a gun at a woman.
He barricade himself inside the apartment by blocking the door with furniture.
Sounds like GZ knew she had a key and wanted to keep her out with the barricade. Why would she have a key if she wasn't intending to leave in the first place? Now days, it's stupid to hide a spare key under the welcome mat or wherever so where did it come from? If he really was smashing furniture and pointing a gun at her, why was she so determined to stay? They both agreed he had to push her outside so that shows she wasn't the victim at that point. Why would she also take the time to continue to argue about who was going to leave?
Nope, if she was that concerned with her safety, she should have been out the door long before and calling 911 from the safety of a neighbor's house. What's her excuse for throwing his stuff outside? Sounds like she was throwing a temper tantrum so she wasn't helping the situtaion. Perhaps the table got smashed by stuff being thrown out.
If there are no bruises and no other evidence, then it's a wash. Though with a baby on the way, it's far from over.
Well, well, well. It wouldn't be the first time some gal told a guy she was pg when she wasn't. It would be odd for GZ to tell the police she was if he knew otherwise. Someone is lying.
