In his mind he did have something to do with oil production: He allowed it.
Praise be he, lord Øbamao.

The “boom” is actually a response to the erosion of the US dollar when it comes to buying oil from foreign sources. This artificial escalation in the price quoted in dollars, when compared to the world price, makes domestically produced oil a better deal than importation. The exchange rates for dollars into other currencies makes the world price comparatively LOWER for many countries than here in the territory once known as “the United States of America”.
Even with all the restrictions put upon the extraction and transport of crude oil in the continental limits, the proportion of domestically produced oil is still rising. This is also due partly to the static or declining demand for crude in this country.

Thank heavens that the major new oil and gas discoveries in the USA are located in two states (ND and TX) where a minuscule percent of the land is owned by the federal government. Otherwise, the environmentalist lunatics in the Obama administration would have prevented the recovery of these tremendous new energy reserves.
As usual, when one looks beyond the lies of the worthless Obama administration, the real energy solutions are coming from private enterprise and not government.

What an ass. The oil companies and private land owners are solely responsible for our oil and gas boom. This liar has stood in the way of off-shore drilling ever since the BP spill, and we all know how his Leftist EPA has blocked the XL pipeline. His cronies got billions of tax dollars for now-defunct wind and solar scams which did absolutely nothing but launder money for Democrat campaign coffers.
