The prod for this could come from outside of Wisconsin

Good thought. It does have the look and feel of a White Hut political "black-operation."

As a presidential candidate, IMO Walker would be much more likely to carry Wisconsin than Christie would New Jersey. Both are bad news for Democrats though from an electoral college perspective.

NJ still has a deficit, Wisconsin a surplus. The base will support Walker but not Christie. I think Christie would have an easier time wining the Dem nomination as a matter of fact.
I agree on Wisconsin vs NJ as to the respective governors.
I know that Christie would perform better in the northeast corridor but i don’t see him actually taking any of those states.
Last thing is i also believe that Christie stands a better shot in Pa.

...you dream if you think either Christie or Walker would deliver NJ or Wisc to the republicans...besides, are there any percolations out there that Walker is even considering a run...
