By the “ important thing”, I was referring to the officer “being able to get home safely at the end of his shift.”
But I guess TSA officers aren't in that club... there’s a hierarchy in gubmint safety protocols.

Actually, they are not “officers”; they are employees. They are not law enforcement or federal agents in any way, just employees.
