“TSA officers”

Actually, they are not “officers”; they are employees. They are not law enforcement or federal agents in any way, just employees.

I wasn’t aware of that. But if they’re not officers, then how do they have arrest powers? I’m confused. I’ve heard of TSA arresting people, even outside of airports.
