“TSA officers”

Actually, they are not “officers”; they are employees. They are not law enforcement or federal agents in any way, just employees.

Zactly the same as Columbine — SWAT showed up in a flash, then waited outside literly FOR HOURS with all the shooting and screaming for help was going g on inside.

One wounded teacher begged and begged as he slowly bleed to death.

NON COPS ARE SEEN AS INSURGENTS.

Nothing has changed, in fact it is much worse.

Can you imagine a battlefield medic (perhaps even a “corpseman”) waiting 33 minutes?

It was an awful comment. But somewhat understandable, given how they treat travelers so disrespectfuly at the airport these days...and it would be nice if the TSA folks would show a little respect for our constitutional rights. That's dead too, it seems.

I agree with Mears, despite your bullying tactics.

I wasn’t aware of that. But if they’re not officers, then how do they have arrest powers? I’m confused. I’ve heard of TSA arresting people, even outside of airports.

I suggest that YOU grow up. It goes without saying that the policies of the TSA are obnoxious and intrusive at best.

BUT, a human being, having been shot by a madman, lays bleeding out for an extended period of time. Gradually weakening, losing hope, watching his own blood pool around him. Why? Because LAPD officers are too cowardly to do their job.

Its a terrible way for a person to die, especially considering that it was totally avoidable had the police shown an iota of moxy. But hell, lets laugh about it, shall we? Its a big joke! This person died in a terrible way, isn't that just hilarious! Forgive me if I misunderstand your position, but as it its presented that's how I see it.

With maturity comes temperance and sympathy, even for TSA agents. You display only churlishness and a lack of respect for common decency. Sir, you denigrate yourself.

That IS ironic, isn't it... A perfect example of our bloated government. 800 highly paid gubmint employees standing around while someone bleeds out...usually it's just taxpayers. This time it was one of their own. I know that sounds callous, but that's pretty much what happened.

“What an awful comment.”

Actually, an accurate summation.

Being a TSA ‘Groin Groper’ is an awful job desctiption which attracts those rejected by the Fast Food Industry.

Worse than any of the scum in their assorted uniforms was the sad fact that those AgencyPersons were paid far beyond the norm because they are supposed to risk their lives.

Why else would the “Law Enforcement Persons” be paid so much for such little education, job risk, etc.

PS Law enforcement isn’t listed in the 10 Most Dangerous Occupations, either.

Yep, call 911, the “first” responders... my arse. Shootings are treated like prison riots: shut the gates, let it die.

NBC want to make believe government is for our safety. Every terrorist knows that shooting in gun free zones gives him full time orgy rights because authorities will not respond. tSA workers are mofe interested in fisting than learning to stop the bleeding on a buddy. Welcome to Obama’s gay perv distracted army. As if he were a hetero displaying higher values for gays. This guy is a liar in high mindedness, typical liberal self serving hypocrisy. When is he going out of the closet? Never probably.

We saw this in the Kenyan mall massacre. Only civilians with weapons saved people.
