Dewhurst was an embarrassment, but you have to break up on good terms. Perry was not the ass. Dewhurst was Perry seems to have a habit of backing embarrassing asses, and being on the wrong side of issues that Texans care about most.
That equals RINO, in my book.

Look, Perry and Dewy were tied at the hip, but Perry is a 10th amendment guy and he put Cruz in as Solicitor General.
He placed Greg Abbott as Attorney General.
Susan Combs was a decent treasurer.
