President Barack Obama will be in attendance Sunday evening when Maryland takes on Oregon State at Comcast Center in College Park, White House press secretary Jay Carney announced at a briefing with the media on Friday afternoon.
Obama, publicly acknowledged as an avid fan of basketball, is the brother-in-law of Oregon State head coach Craig Robinson.
-snip-
Robinson has coached at Oregon State since 2008 and is the brother of First Lady Michelle Obama. During Robinsons time with the Beavers, he has amassed a record of 77-88 and has yet to make an appearance in the NCAA tournament.

Yeah, but I can still dream about it.

It’s called “plain folk appeal.” It’s all that Obama has left.

The “plain folk” are realizing he lied to them. Soon he won’t have any “plain folk appeal” left.

It would be fun to see a 5-minute standing boo-vation for him. Make him cry. I think laughter would be better.

Yes, his boss Valerie told him he could go see a basketball game. He was delighted.

Yes, students and other attendees are being asked to show up early due to increased security. Perhaps the Terrapin faithful should just stay home in protest of Zerocare.

During Robinsons time with the Beavers, he has amassed a record of 77-88 and has yet to make an appearance in the NCAA tournament. That's a lot of amassing, 11 games under 500 or a winning percentage of a roaring, 47%.
If he weren't related to the pResident, would a coach with a long time record under 500 be employed?

Yes, his boss Valerie told him he could go see a basketball game. But he has to be back from Reggie's place by midnight, not too much weed or coke, and have Reggie wear... I don't want to be too crude.

it should be a pretty pro obama friendly venue...
