Congress didn't.
Congress funds it, so of course they can question it! Moron.
Donna is from the native state of Pelosi. Coincidence?
That is irrelevant. The EPA is an agency in the executive branch to administer and enforce the laws. That's why the EPA was created.
You can defund the EPA but the Clean Air Act is still the law. As is the Clean Water Act or the Safe Drinking water Act. Thru the years congress has passed many acts that have become part of the US Code Book.
And thru the years the courts have made many decisions that carry the weight of law and are in the US Code.
Well golly, lets defund EPA and that will make all the legislative acts and judicial decisions impertinent?
equal branches. fedgov agencies are not congressional branches. they are lower. they answer to any three of those branches even though only one oversees them day to day.
Maybe “Donna” should just resign and go home. Apparently she is in agreement with obamaramadingdong that the Congress is irrelevant.
It is amazing how ignorant demoncrats are and how they get elected being so stupid. Do these people ever study the constitution? Do they ever study government?
This is up there with SJL thinking we had goneto Mars and the jackass who thought Guam would capsize if we stationed more Marines there.
*lets defund EPA and that will make all the legislative acts and judicial decisions impertinent? *
We all want to end Obamacare.
The Jim Crow laws went away.
Slavery laws were taken away.
Don’t stand on the “law of the land” phrase.
If the EPA is defunded they can’t cause any more trouble.
“And I doubt the EPAs ability to survive if their funding was stripped away.’
The Republicans in the House of Representatives have had the Constitutional authority to defund the EPA since January 2011. They have the authority but don’t have the guts.
If Congress has no authority to create legislative bodies likie the EPA, does it really need to be said that the executive and judicial branches don’t have that authority either?
Unbelievable.
