This PROMISE by the Clown Liar was made to **everyone in the nation who had insurance**.
In one year, the employer mandate kicks in. Everyone in the nation with employer backed insurance will be affected. Obama's promise will be broken again.
We cannot let his illegal re-writing of the law yesterday be the meme of the story--because Obama is trying to get everyone to think that his promise "if you like your plan you can keep your plan" applied ONLY to the individual market...the "5%" or whatever number he is using.
He promised EVERYONE in the NATION their health care plan and doctor would not change.
Obama’s speech in Ohio Thursday after his dictatorial press conference:

“We are not going to gut this law; we will fix what needs to be fixed,” he added.
......The insurance industry largely ripped the proposal, saying it would undo much of the work they have done to prepare to implement the sweeping law.
Democratic lawmakers are still pursuing legislative changes, saying the administration’s fix doesn’t go far enough to help the millions of Americans receiving cancellation notices.
Obama at the Ohio event was noticeably less apologetic than during a White House press conference Thursday morning, in which he conceded the administration had “fumbled” the Obamacare rollout.
“We always knew this was going to be hard,” the president told the Cleveland crowd. “There’s a reason the folks who tried to do this for 100 years hadn’t done it.”
The president also took a swipe at the same insurance companies he is now asking to renew cancelled coverage plans.
Under Obamacare, the president said insurance companies would no longer “jack up your premium so you can’t afford it” just “because you had some sort of preexisting condition.”
The president travels to Philadelphia later Thursday for a Democratic fundraiser.”

I have been saying the same thing for a while - why isn’t anyone screaming from the rooftops that this is just the beginning of the cancellations?
It’s gonna be a whole lot worse when half of all employer plans are cancelled. That’s an assload of voters.

I think at the time, the “big lie” was more a tool to sell Obamacare to Democrat Senators and House members so they would vote for Obamacare. When he started peddling this particular bull squeeze, the Dems were whipping for votes to pass the bill. Once they saw it resonating, they flung it far and wide.
Obama is such a narcissist, he thinks all he has to do is stand there and take responsibility, and everyone will just breathe a sigh of relief and he’ll be back in favour.
Sadly, between evil and stupid people, he could be right.
I'm sure Woodrow Wilson's or FDR's rollout of the website would have been even more disastrous.

…nevermindI’ve been posting on various social media reminders that the people they are going after now are individuals who actually PURCHASED HEALTH INSURANCE! They are responsible citizens who bought a health insurance plan based on their needs and funds. They aren’t irresponsible dolts expecting the world to pay for their health care.
It’s not like they’re illegal aliens using hospitals as doctors’ offices is what I reminded.
And I like to point out that....NEXT THEY’RE COMING AFTER YOU!
I do believe that he has told some truths though. I believed him when he said that he would fundamentally transform the United States. I believed him when he said that he would regulate the coal industry out of existence. I believed him when he said that he would regulate coal fired power plants out off existence.
