Someone forgot to call 611.

Is this a natural gas pipeline from the gas field to the processing plant, or a transmission pipeline from the distribution center to the home customers?
The PG&E pipeline explosion a few years ago in San Bruno was not a Keystone type of pipeline.

Once is an accident;
Twice is coincidence;

Massive? OH PUHLEAZE!
Massive, to me, is what happened in Edison, NJ... I could see the fireball clearly from 50 miles away in Hunterdon County.

I know. I lived in Edison at the time. Also I was and still am a career fire fighter in Edison TWP. I was fairly new on the job then. They recalled all of us who were off duty. I still remember it to this day. The radiant heat was incredible, burned 8 large apartment buildings to the ground. Ironically we have had numerous fires in that complex over the years resulting in the loss of several more of those buildings either partially or fully.

It’s a pipeline, not a well.
Turn a couple of valves and let it burn itself out.
