I remember seeing the video of Kaufman when he was wrestling. He grabbed the microphone and held up some shoes and toilet paper and yelled at the audience, “I know none of you have ever seen these before!” The man was funny, but he was crazy.
Tim Conway is the same way in some respects. Once he goes off on a tangent there’s nothing left to do but ride it out.
