He can say it, but I don’t see how he’s going to do this. Some insurers offering private policies let subscribers know the policy would end and left the state/market.

Anyone who believes anything he says at this point is foolish at best.

Yes, What about those that have already been terminated? Maybe they’ll take it out on the dems in 14

I think those that have already been dropped will see that this one year delay doesn’t change anything.
They’re still going to lose the coverage that they like.

"So the Clown just gets to WRITE NEW LAW, eh?"

Worse, he gets to write a new law that MANDATES private companies reinstate policies that had been previously cancelled for the coming year, while those same companies have been pricing the new policies out incorporating all the Obamacare changes and not bothering with the old policies that they knew were going to be cancelled.

On top of that, he's mandated that they explain the differences between the reinstated coverage and the Obamacare coverage to the consumer.

And of course, the insurance companies are supposed to accomplish this overnight.

Apparently, this clown thinks he's King!

This will not work, the add/drop date for companies has already passed. We have had new insurance companies with new charges already forced upon us by the gov.
Too late to restart what has already been canceled.
And by the way, when do these rat demos get to change a law by decree? I thought we had a form of government that included three branches of gov?
Now its just what obummer says?
Time to impeach the fraud.

The insurance companies have spent billions in the past three years to completely restructure their business model to operate after Obamacare.

The Magic Mullato thinks all he has to do is make another speech and his skinny black ass is off the hook.

In order to comply with his latest Executive Order, it will cost insurance companies a fortune and take months, if not years to put the genie back in the bottle. And then we get to go through all this emotional trauma again in a year.

I predict that afterward the speech, Obama will have to go on vacation again.

That's the way the law was written. "The secretary shall deem..." is in there about a thousand times.

So much for the lie some have tried to push that plans in the individual market are cancelled all the time and in large part not due to Obamacare.

I wonder if there is fine print that insurance companies can’t send out cancellation notifications until after the 2014 elections.

He can say it, but I don’t see how he’s going to do this. Some insurers offering private policies let subscribers know the policy would end and left the state/market.

There's that, but also something else - "upgrading" people to more expensive plans that include services they don't need (like maternity care) was critical in flattening out premiums and deductibles. Letting those people keep cheaper but more tailored plans is going to keep money out of the system.

So insurance companies are going to take a financial hit with this. The question is: do they eat it as a "one year" cost of doing business thing, do they pass it along to customers buying the new plans or do they ask for the government bailout money promised them?

I just saw this story this morning, and I'm a little confused about the specifics. Is he planning on ordering the Insurance companies to issue "sub-standard" policies for one year?

Back before the GM CEO-firing fiasco, I'd have laughed it off as impossible.

The policies were only substandard of course as long as that served his purpose.

He doesn’t give a crap what kind of damage he does or anything else just as long as his communist / muslim ideology is served.

How much longer are we going to put up with this fraud before we quit just yakking about it? Any other society would have drug the bastards out in the streets and beat them to bloody mush with base ball bats by now. We are too trusting, too civilized, too manipulated and too conditioned to being controlled.

He doesn’t care what it costs and anything is possible for those who decree and don’t have to do.

The skinny sob thinks, correction, knows the sheeple are stupid enough to think he has solved the problem and that whatever goes wrong now is the insurance company’s fault. His lick spittle toadies in the press will reinforce the message. The sheeple will kill insurance executives before they ever blame obastard and the demorats. They are stupid mouth breathing organisms. Maybe Zombies are for real?
