Full title: Butterball has shortage of unfrozen, large turkeys, according to Big Y officials; other Butterball turkeys, brands available
I looked around the net for other articles and this is the only one so far about this apparent national problem. 50% of birds 16 lbs and over is a huge production miscalculation. Cutting every retailer 50% of their orders in this weight class with this brand will lead to shortages across the board. Buy early and often :)

Butterball are the turkey with the yellow hydrogenated food product injected under the skin. Yuck.
Get minimally processed bird, fresh or frozen.
