NYC elected a radical Social Democrat Mayor in 1965 named John Lindsay (a Socialist Republican Congressman). He changed NYC, alright. Almost a million people flooded out of the city during and following his disastrous tenure. de Blasio is Lindsay Part Deux.

I am very worried about the preschool education plans. This was popular with many voters because of its free babysitting aspect (as was the after-school program). Even that would not be so bad except for the early indoctrination that will occur.
