The Wall Street Journal reports that only 40,000 to 50,000 have thus far signed up on the federal website. This brings the total number of enrollees (including the 12 states with working sites) to fewer than 100,000. The White House target for October alone was 500,000.

I don’t know who wrote the headline but you need to learn the difference between “then,” and “than.”
TOTAL FRAUD today....as it was when he was elected the FIRST time. Nothing has changed or will change. America burns while the Congress fiddles...
It is my understanding that Obumbocare was designed to fail, forcing America to accept single payer healthcare (socialized medicine). Is that correct?
Yes
It's a distinct possibility, yes.
But such a plan would've had Obamacare failing slowly, over time -- so as to inure people to the concept of government-managed healthcare.
Under no circumstances, though, would it have been designed to fail spectacularly, immediately, out of the blocks. The current situation lends support to the notion that "the government can't do anything right".
Outside of the Congress, there's not a lot of support for "fixing" Obamacare. Voters would be very shy about a single-payer scheme right now.
Which is to say: The administration has effed-up badly. And that it's a very real eff-up.

Health insurance plans only count subscribers as enrolled in a health plan once theyve submited a payment. That is when the carrier sends out a member card and begins paying doctor bills.
When the Obama administration releases health law enrollment figures later this week, though, it will use a more expansive definition. It will count people who have purchased a plan as well as those who have a plan sitting in their online shopping cart but have not yet paid.
In the data that will be released this week, enrollment will measure people who have filled out an application and selected a qualified health plan in the marketplace, said an administration official, who requested anonymity to frankly describe the methodology.
“The White House target for October alone was 500,000.”
Questions for the junta:
1. Of the 100,000 claimed to have enrolled in October, how many enrolled in Medicaid?
2. Of the 500,000 in the White House target, how many were targeted for Medicaid?
“Outside of the Congress, there’s not a lot of support for “fixing” Obamacare.”

Yes, who could fix such a massive clusterf***?
OReilly just showed an undercover investigator pretending to be applying for Obamacare in overdone by two different “navigators”. He told the first that he had odd jobs that he didn’t declare as income, she told him not to declare it now. He told the second navigator that he smoked, she told him not to declare it on the HC application.
Good find.
Thank you!

As many suspected, the enrollment data issued by the Obama administration will be a continuation of their lies and deception. ObamaCare enrollment data that issues from HHS in the Obama administration is worthless. Only the raw data from the insurance companies should be trusted.
