I've been telling people for years not to under estimate the French. They suffered horribly in WW1, terrible generalship, they had not yet recovered from WW1 when WW2 came along. But ever since 300 BC the franks have been very good at the art of war. It is nice to see them back in the game and on the side of Western Civilization. Twice, once in 450ish AD (Huns) and again around 800ish AD (Islam) the Franks saved the West. They also saved the very young USA at Yorktown.
Viva la France!

Yes, they did pull our bacon out of the fire at Yorktown. But keep in mind that debt was paid in full,
twice in 1918 and 1945. It is encouraging, however that they have grown a spine in a time when we in the US seem to have misplaced ours.

I see no positive trend in France but rather a hickup of sanity appearing from time to time.

Don’t forget John Sobieski and the Battle of Vienna...1683.
We keep thinking that we have finally defeated the Mooslims but they just keep coming. Islam does not have a calendar date, like the Commies as long as they eventually win, who cares?
