Nutrition is full of all kinds of nonsense. The worst examples are listed here, but unfortunately this is just the tip of the iceberg. Here are the top 13 nutrition lies that have made the world both sick and fat.
Eggs are so incredibly nutritious that they’re often called “nature’s multivitamin.”
The nutrients in them are enough to turn a single cell into an entire baby chicken.
However, eggs have been demonized in the past because they contain a large amount of cholesterol, which was believed to increase the risk of heart disease.
But the truth is that despite being high in cholesterol, eggs don’t really raise the bad cholesterol in the blood. In fact, eggs primarily raise the “good” cholesterol (1, 2, 3, 4).
Despite all the warnings about eggs in the past few decades, studies show that they are NOT associated with heart disease (5, 6, 7).
If anything, eggs are pretty much a perfect food for humans. They’re loaded with protein, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and unique antioxidants that protect the eyes (8, 9).
They are also an excellent source of Choline, a nutrient that is very important for the health of the brain and about 90% of people aren’t getting enough of (10, 11).
Despite being a “high fat” food, eating eggs for breakfast is proven to cause significant weight loss compared to a breakfast of bagels (12, 13).

Have noticed that “gluten intolerance’ sure seems to generate radial over-reactions, sort of like “conservative intolerance” suffered by liberals.
Oh sure they may be 1 in 10 million, but humans have been eating GLUTEN as primary food source for thousands of years. Amazing we didn’t die out in pre-history ..............

I believe there are legitimate cases of food allergies, but I don't believe they're as common as we're told.
Try sugar packets if you don’t like sweeteners like equal. I switched to sugar packets, they are premeasured, started with 4 in a cup and am down to 2 now. Gradual decrease and my coffee still tastes good. When you use a spoon it’s easy to use too much. You can also use 1 packet of sweeter along with the sugar, it adds no taste with only 1 packet.
I apologize for thinking you were agreeing with the numbskull above you. He just throws stuff out with no basis in reality like like 1 in 10 million. According to him, around 30 people in the USA are gluten intolerant.
Then when you point out such vapid ignorance he compares you to a liberal. People having their stomach linings destroyed is a "fetish fad" that they "enjoy."

You show one study claiming one thing and I’ll show another study to the contrary. That’s why the vast majority of “studies” are junk.

No, 1 in 10 million are ACTAULLY diagnosed, the rest are over diagnosis and other factors like hypochondria, mainly hypochondria.

You may want to read Grain Brain explaining what too many carbs and sugar will do to you, and it isn’t pretty. I was suspicious long time ago and for many, many years avoided sugar and too many carbs like the plague and it has been paying of as I am heading towards eighty and still swim a mile a day, out swim most any one my age and even some life guards. Believe me it is a nice feeling......
