I actually think it had to do more with redistricting and the lack of challengers for a lot of House of Delegate members. Anyone that knew Cooch's record and NRA A rating and TMac's NRA F rating would have voted for Cooch.

The difference in the black vote alone would have changed the election in 2009, the black vote was 16% of the overall vote. In this last election, the black vote was 20% of the overall vote. With TMac getting 90+% of the black vote, this change alone made the difference in the election. And that's not counting the huge fund raising/advertising difference, GoPe dropout/non endorsement effect, McDonnell Star Scientific, federal government shutdown, and press effects.

Do you think those were real votes, or did TMac pay for precinct workers in Richmond etc to stuff the ballot boxes?
