That's right. Ted Cruz to be on Leno tonight. Looking forward to FReepers comments as they are always informative and many are very humorous at the same time. Buckle up FReepers. I'm sure that Ted and Jay will keep us both informed and entertained.
Stay tuned or set your DVRs (NBC). This should be great. Go Cruz!
Hopefully, this is posted early enough to give FReepers time to plan on watching or recording. I will do both :)

Hi Ron, how’ve you been ..?? Aside from organizing trips to Leno’s program .. what else are you guys up to ..??
I finally retired.
It’s great .. planning to update a book I wrote in 2006; and then I hope I will be able to travel a little to talk about the book .. which will be lots of fun.
Thinking of moving to Oregon - where my sister lives; plus 3 of her 4 children also live (with their spouses and children, and they’re tons of fun). It’s a very conservative area of Oregon and has an active Tea Party group - which my sister belongs to - and that should keep me very busy.
I’ll look forward to seeing the photos (and commentary). Be sure you ping me.
Still plugging along... :)Getting out of California might be a good idea!
I'll ping YOU when my "after action" thread goes up,
as long as you ping ME when your book is ready for some "promotion." ;)
[re: TED CRUZ] What drove JAY LENO to the Dark Side?
Bribes, blackmail, assimilated by the BORG?
Wow! Bless your heart Ron .. hope I get to see you one more time before I leave CA. I’m not moving until probably May-July of next year.
Yeah, I’ve had some good advice about what’s going on in CA and if by chance the dems manage to get amnesty, I don’t think it will be safe in San Diego.
So .. I’m really excited for the change of scenery; as well as being able to spend more time with my family.
:o)
Contrary to what many Conservatives think, many Liberals, like Letterman, are not well educated, just rather easily led. The incentive that works best with them: convince them that to do what is ordered by the "intellectuals" will make them (a) "intellectual," hip, and way cool.
BTW, your sitting POTUS, is easily the dumbest man who ever held the job. Slick ... but dumb ... just like Letterman.
My sitting POTUS? Why mine?
TENTATIVE new title:
PHOTOS (and analysis): TED CRUZ on the TONIGHT SHOW with "Bad Jay" Leno - and PRIVATE "after party"
RonDog, I’m watching the Kelly file on FOX NEWS right now.
She played several clips of Cruz and the thunderous applause!
She said “The LA crowd appears to approve of Cruz”
She seemed to genuinely have no idea that it was you and a bunch of FR members and other conservatives who seeded the crowd.
She was wondering if Hollywood is getting more conservative...
She needs to get with the program, I can’t believe she doesn’t have staff watching FR like O’Reilly, Hannity, Rush etc etc do.
Catch up Megan.
It was fantastic to see Cruz’s great answers and the applause drowning out Leno when he attempted to just keep talking as if there was no positive response to Cruz.
Again, good job and looking forward to the new thread!
BTW the Kelly File is on again at 9pm, catch it if you can.
The Cruz clips are about 15-20 minutes before the end of the show.
Palin on Hannity in a few minutes, 7pm
Megyn Kelly talks about enthusiastic L.A. audience’s reaction to Senator Ted Cruz on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

"Serious" TED CRUZ rocks TONIGHT SHOW with "Bad Jay" LENO
[PHOTOS, analysis, FReeper "after party"!]
Thanks. I missed it last night.
Nacho "your" sitting POTUS. He be "our" sitting POTUS. I be tryin' to shift the blame, thasall.
LOL!
Boo-hoo-hoo
Leno asked Cruz real questions that he would get in a national race in the real world.
That's completely different than hiding on talk radio and being praised by the choir.
And Cruz didn't do bad at it. And its great practice.
I know facing reality is tough but we are forced to live on the planet Earth.
Well, welcome to the real world.
Life our HERE isn't just being praised by Rush.
I think its great that Cruz is brave enough to venture outside the bubble and take on real questions,
And Leno asked them.
Better now then when its too late to learn.
Bad Question :"What books inspired you?"
Bad answer :"Well I read so many I cant think of one right now"
From my same post:
“And its Jay, not Cruz, who is so used to adoring fans, he wouldnt know what to do in the face of an adversary”
And from #221:
“Scary impressive and graceful
Bush strove for the gentlemanly approach. This is gentlemanly fighting, which we are due.
Blew Jay away.”
This thread is two weeks old. What, are you; looking for a fight?
Oh. 1:48 AM.
Ok.
Now I see.
Just because you’ll be reading this much later than when you wrote your obnoxious post, and Lo I can cut and paste for later, and cite this post, in case you want to continue this ridiculous point:
Ted Cruz ran against Bush Boy, Dewhurst, in Texas, a year ago. Bush Boy, in case you don’t know, means all the money and popularity among the big money.
Dewhurst was the acting Lt Governor, Perry’s.
Cruz was debate CHAMPION at Princeton. That entails, in case you are unaware, as you were of my previous posts, and the spirit behind them, as I imagine you did not read the entire thread before shooting off, here, debating adversaries.
Following is a review of just his short time as Solicitor General of Texas. Do you think he can’t take on Leno, or that people here, who pay attention, think he can’t?
Appointed to the office of Solicitor General of Texas by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott,[4][42] Cruz served in that position from 2003 to 2008.[20][36]
Cruz has authored more than 80 United States Supreme Court briefs and presented 43 oral arguments, including nine before the United States Supreme Court.[4][12][22] Cruz’s record of having argued before the Supreme Court nine times is more than any practicing lawyer in Texas or any current member of Congress.[43] Cruz has commented on his nine cases in front of the U.S. Supreme Court: “We ended up year after year arguing some of the biggest cases in the country. There was a degree of serendipity in that, but there was also a concerted effort to seek out and lead conservative fights.”[43]
That is a picture worth framing!
