Based on the exit polls, the average Sarvis voter was a younger, well-educated, pro-choice white who did not identify with either political party

The Demoncrats call these people "useful".

People are fed up with both the dems and the repubs. Voting LIbertarian is a protest vote for many. Yes, I know many actually vote Libertarian because they consider themselves Libertarian. It just goes to show how much people are fed up with the two major parties.

Rove (OK just shoot me) says this is just one of many.

The Dems have so much dough from crony capitalism they are gonna run this play until it stops working.

There may be many Dems winning with the fabled “Clintonian plurality” in the future, sadly....

The Marxists started infiltrating the Libertarian party back in the 1990s. Now these fascists and communists own it.

With a (third party) Tea Party, or whatever name you want, would give people a legitimate alternative.

If Conservatives left the RINO GOP party, the GOP would be DOA. Republicans can't win WITH the Conservatives, what could they win without them? NOTHING! Then Conservatives could negotiate, from a position of strength, with the Republicans instead of the Democrats.

It is time to leave the GOP. Third party NOW! It would grow rapidly as right leaning RINOs abandon the GOP, while independents would have a real choice.

Would a third party win the White House, the House, and a filibuster proof Senate, in it's first election? Of course NOT!

In order to build a new party, you have to get started. What better time than now?

Younger pro-choice whites, eh? Back when Rudy Giuliani was a serious possibility for the GOP nomination, this forum drew a surprising number of posters of that stripe. Wonder who they ended up supporting in the general election . . .

Why do republicans think they would have recieved Sarvis’ voters were he not there? If the article is to be believed Sarvis voters were young, pro abortion, and “well educated” which means they spent more time than most in lefist endoctrination camps (colleges). That seems more like a democrat demographic to me.

For the guy who finished third in the Virginia governor’s race, Robert Sarvis had a pretty good night on Tuesday. Sarvis was the Libertarian candidate in the election who pulled in just over 6.5% of the vote. This wasn’t just a landmark achievement for a third party candidate in Virginia but in the entire American South.

This @$$hjat received a good portion of his financial support for the Dems. Their intent was to pull as much support from Cuccinelli as possible and that is what he did. He is to the left of Cuccinelli on a number of issues and deserves a good kick in the Obama. I also blame the NRC for pulling money and giving it to Christie the RINO.

it didn't help when people like George Will and other RINOs praised Sarvis and dismissed Cuccinelli.

George Will: Cuccinelli is far from the best choice for Virginia

If Sarvis was “pro-choice” so-called, is that just an indicator that voters would have gone to the Party of Death’s candidate in his absence?
