Former MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan recently got a rude awakening about Obamacare when he received a cancellation notice in the mail for his catastrophic insurance policy.

We've known for years Obamacare would get rid of catastrophic insurance plans, Ratigan just wasn't paying close enough attention. The good news is, Ratigan isn't being a hypocrite on this issue and has been a critic of Obamacare since the beginning by pointing out the cronyism between the government and healthcare insurance companies. These multi-thousand dollar deductibles are terrible! Having a deductible that is way more than one can hope to pay is virtually the same thing as not having any insurance at all.

I have noticed an interesting shift in the ultra-left wing media, MSNBC and the Air America types. Instead of doing a victory lap over their election win in Virginia and a couple other races they are going way over the top in their vitriol. While I would expect any of these shows to call people like me a racist at least once an hour, now it is a constant diatribe of hate. Prior to the election the new lefty narrative was anybody complaining about Obamacare was greedy and needed to pay their "fair" share. Now they go on and on about white men being racists, wanting to disenfranchise voters, and hating foreigners.

I am wondering if this isn't a sign of desperation because they know what is about to happen.
