President Obama, is a 'substandard' health plan really substandard? (Obama Lies!)

When I worked in the government, I lived only two miles from the White House. As a result, I decided that my transportation needs were minimal so I bought a no-frills Ford Focus.

The car had a standard, stick shift transmission, roll-down windows and manual locks. My car was “substandard” compared to the almost all other autos in the White House lot, but it was a fine car that served me well.

Last week in Boston, President Obama attempted to explain how losing health coverage because a plan was downgraded to be “substandard” was consistent with his earlier promises.

The president told us that substandard plans that no longer meet the criteria of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) must be replaced “with quality, comprehensive coverage -- because that, too, was a central premise of the Affordable Care Act from the very beginning....”

This is a good article, but it infers that the average American is smart enough to choose the health care plan he needs.

Obama knows better , he knows what is best for Americans, he knows we are not competent enough to pick a policy we can afford which serves us well, so he and the Government will pick our insurance for us.

As a 71 year old man I cannot wait to use my maternity benefits or if I choose, to abort my unborn child.

All HealthCare insurance plans are sub-standard compared to the solid gold Cadillac plans we taxpayers provide to Barack, Michelle, high level bureaucrats, congress, SCOTUS, etc.

Geraldo was on F&F this morning. He was defending Obama’s apology and claiming Obama ‘misspoke’ about ‘keeping your plan, your doctor.’ [G byo’s his own kneepads]

F&F played the clip of Obama on NBC.

I noticed Obama was seated. Usually, on his apology tours, he is standing and bowing. Maybe he should try that — bowing to the American people for this 3-year lie.

[I would suspect that the after-apology polling turned out to be much, much lower than the pre-apology focus group polling. Not that they want to insert politics into this, of course. (/s)]

I’d like to upgrade my president. The current one is substandard.

I just wish someone could cancel his term. (not him, just his term in office)

"As a 71 year old man I cannot wait to use my maternity benefits or if I choose, to abort my unborn child." You're right. Absolutely essential. After all, Dannyt DeVito did manage to impregnate Arnold Schwarzenegger with Emma Thompson's egg. We males in your age group always have to be prepared to finance such unexpected pregnancies.

This is a good article, but it infers that the average American is smart enough to choose the health care plan he needs.

It also infers that the UCA (Unaffordable Care Act) is actually about better health care. It is not. It's about the government controlling more and more of the formerly private sector economy and about a massive transfer of wealth.

With high deductibles and co-pays, a narrow choice of doctors and hospitals, and government access to the patient’s medical data, the ObamaCare exchange plans could be called substandard. Hence the term “Medicaid Plus.”
