Exactly!
Just after the Los Angeles 1992 riots, I purchased some weapons so I could protect my family the next time.
Now folks will laugh, because I live in what is customarily thought of as a place where riot damage would not take place.
My reaction to that is, what happens when the rioters decide to pay back certain ethnic people they have a grudge against, instead of destroying their own neighborhood, as is traditionally the case? Can you buy a gum in a hurry? No! You’ll be “S” out of luck then.
So is this based on race? Frankly, yes it is. I know who the players are. So does everyone else! Is it indicative of my hatred of that race? Hell no.
I judge individuals on their individual actions. I love good people of all races, every single race on the planet.
After reading this, I’m sure I’ll be included as another White racist. That simply is not true.
Articles like this are insightful. They are not productive, or even reasoned. Some people will read it, and say, “See I told you.” It does nothing but foster hatred based on stereotypes.
The Washington Times is generally above tripe like this.
Frankly, I’m quite disappointed in their decision to publish this idiotic nonsense.
Thanks for the link.
