Georgia’s biggest hospital announces it will lose $45 million a year because of Obamacare
Actually you don’t need much $ to open up a health center. You rent cheap space and buy an EHR computer, exam table, scale, stethescope, blood pressure gauge and thermometer. Most testing (blood work, xrays, etc) is referred out. The bulk of the cost is for staff salaries, but you can always find part time help pretty cheap.
Wow... AP goofed the headline. Should be HHS..
I'm amazed that it took 11 people to note that (even with the caveat I put on the headline).
CORRECTED HEADLINE:
“DHS awards $5.3 million to Ga. ACORN/COI/OFA groups”
“Officials say the funding is expected to support 10 new health center sites in Georgia”
$5M for ten sites is really very little. That’s $500K per health center. For how many years?
What these grants do is help increase salaries of NGO Democrat team players.
There is a huge racket going on with the Democrats and academia more so than ever before.
They could have bought health insurance for a whole lotta folks instead. Same with all the cash they squandered on O Care.
Repeal or Revolution. One or the other.
‘V’ is on the TV right now. Too scary of a parallel.
