Hmmmm. Was there a valid reason why 3 Republicans chose not to vote?

It is amazing that such a tiny percentage of our population could have such an outsized affect: Queers: "We are the 3.4%."

If you’re in a swing district and you know the bill is going to pass or fail without your vote, then not voting is a good prep for talking out both sides of your mouth in the next election.

Mitt Romney 1994:

“We have discussed a number of important issues such as the Federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), which I have agreed to co-sponsor, and if possible broaden to include housing and credit, and the bill to create a federal panel to find ways to reduce gay and lesbian youth suicide, which I also support.
One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t pursue” military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share.”

Well, then that reveals a lot about your character, doesn’t it?

I know it's been said before, but this is where the slippery slope becomes Teflon coated.

Every business will have to hire every freak that comes along for fear of being sued.

Even church schools and eventually churches will have to have wall-to-wall freaks in employ.

Every medical procedure associated with freaks being freaky will have to be covered in the medical plan.

Every judgmental statement against freaks (including this post) will be deemed hate speech and punished with fines and/or prison time.

Being Christian or Jewish will be against the law.

I'm almost hoping that Detroit goes over to the Muzzies. It will be interesting to see what happens in a Freaks vs. Muzzy knockdown brawl.

Build a stadium-sized octagon, sell popcorn, and wait for the fun to begin!

It reveals a lot about the character of the congressman that chooses not to vote on such an important issue.

I can see where a congressmen would choose not to vote on an issue that is of little or no importance (e.g. naming a building after a dead senator.)

But ENDA is a big change in the wrong direction, and these congressmen either need to vote it up or down, or they need to inform their constituents why they chose to remain silent.

Both Udall and Bennett from Colorado are part of that Gay Parade— they would have us all be as Sodom and Like unto Gomorrah. I advise my Rep. Tipton against supporting the Soviet Communist destruction of American business.

Coburn just had his prostate cancer recur, so may be off dealing with that. I have no idea why Sessions didn't vote. Interesting that Barrasso didn't vote, when the main, or at least loudest, concerns expressed on FR about his primary challenger, Liz Cheney, is that her claims to oppose gay marriage are trumped by her sister's gay marriage. If both WY choices are dubious on gay issues than that race becomes more interesting. We need more senators who vote mostly RIGHT. Both claim to vote so although some are skeptical. We also need some, and more than we have, senators that are pugnacious PR leaders for our issues. Ted Cruz can't do it all. Cheney has that style, Barrasso doesn't.

Much to my chagrin, most of the faux jews in this country agree with this. And so do most of the faux christians. Nothing is sacred anymore. Not your privacy. Not your property. Not your person. And not your right to life and liberty.
NOBODY realizes that FREEDOM is obedience to a G-d you cannot see which makes you responsible for yourself and your posterity. G-d’s Laws are writ large and clear and this country has forsaken freedom and replaced it with self-imposed slavery. The shackles will tighten. And I am afraid there is no turning back.
Moses explained this concept over and over and still there were those who wished for a human king to rule them. This is what you get for giving man the seat of power that only G-d should occupy.

I see that the creepy liar Joe Munchkin and the execrable Jay Rockefeller (Demon, WV) voted for this abhomination.

Pat McGeehan needs our support to replace Rockefeller in 2014.
