Does that job come with good pay and benefits? How much vacation do you get every year?
Classless, protesting at a 95 year old mans celebration.
Maybe Westboro Baptist Church was busy.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much-James 5:16(b)
The God of Creation LISTENS to the prayers of saved, Heaven-bound believers.I love Rev. Billy Graham, but all of us believers have the same direct line to the Father as Billy does.
All of the big government crap going on pretty much everywhere you look and a 95 year old pastor is the best they can do. It shows a lack of imagination.
No, they will be heckled by weak minded liberals that are possessed by satan.
There is not one note of sound, nor one letter of any alphabet, within me, that has anything bad, ill-willed, or malicious to emote about the Rev. Billy Graham.
He is, and has been, a mathematical constant, in the calculation of an individual’s and a nation’s moral constant.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Billy!!!!!
That day is coming. Ready or not, faith and belief or not...
America and its world has an "end of an era" feel, along with the initial birth pains of transition for the new era that follows.
You have said it well. Very sad!
Lets take a larger view here, understanding the general way God works as shown in Scripture.
I believe the time is coming due for a new incursion of the Lord.
Whether it is the literal return, or whether it is a new revival, we could not presume to say. I tend to think a new revival is on the brink (hey that even rhymes). The scripture passages about the literal return seem to imply it will happen in what appears to be good times. This era does not seem to qualify, unless it’s talking about the persistent delusions of what we call liberals today. (I hate the way they have stolen the word “liberals.” It is like homosexuals have presumed to walk off with “gay.” Classical liberals believed in freedom of exploration within sane moral and theological constraints, not a self glorifying free-for-all.)
Anyhow. Letting evil fail is how God shows the world, invested in evil (as we all are at birth) due to the Fall, that it needs Him. This is nothing new. Follow the Old Testament accounts if you want to see it in action. Then revival commonly comes if there is a legacy of worship to return to. And in America, blessedly, there is.
I root for revival. Sin will prove an untenable shelter and then God will shine His light in, giving a chance either to respond well or to destroy ourselves. But again, I’m rooting for revival.
However... I don’t even think liberals are thinking “peace and safety” right now. I don’t see it as ripe for the actual return, and there are some prophecies that still seem to need to come to pass. But revival... yes. Any time that sin’s consequences have become marked enough to get a people groaning, revival is ripe.
Well I was referring to the “peace and safety” that people are going to be saying.
Tribulations yes, and some of the tribulations aren’t even in the form of pain but of illusory pleasure.
And... I really wish serious Christians would look at the illusory pleasures without falling into the scapegoating of the media of the pleasures. For just one example: It’s OK to drink wine to the Lord; it’s not OK to get drunk.
