Mornin’ everybuddy!
Did anyone watch the Country Music Awards? There is a FR thread about a segment where they mock Obamacare. It's pretty cool and features some of the DD crew.
For your amusement. The DD segment starts around 4:00 but you must watch the first couple of minutes to see the BOcare mocking.
They are using the STUPID Blurred Lines song but Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood...and the DD crew...made it better. In fact they are mocking that song, pop music and BOcare all at the same time.
Anyone else having problems listening with tunein? The feed keeps buffering for me.
Meanwhile Jim is correct as usual. The GOPe, the McCain wing of the party, is waging war on the tea party! They wanted McCauliff to win VA in a landslide and then blame it on conservatives!
Morning! Mr S and I just watched! LOVE IT! We love the DD family!
What’s with Taylor Swift. She wasn’t clapping or laughing during the Ocare segment. Is she a lib? Everybody else got a kick out of it!
Quinn just played it! lol!
Dog gone! I MISSED IT! The only feed I can get to work is Frostburg and its cutting out. The battery in my pocket radio is dead and I just got into the bedroom to turn on the clock radio.
I wanted mrs p6 to hear it.
Taylor Swift is a HUGE lib. Hung out with the Kennedys and did something with BO.
Just one of the reasons I am not a fan.
Don’t use Tunein that much.. IHeartRadio on Roku, now.
Republican Progressives will be purged from the party!
Meanwhile I had to get up and go to the desktop to show mrs p6 the CMA clip. Not sure what 's wrong with the other machines.
Morning AM!
Quinn talking about the Sam’s Club in Pittsburgh and the food stamp lady buying a bunch of steaks. We were there last week. We bought a large package of ground beef. We were going to get the beef tenderloin but put it back and opted for a large package of stew meat. We can stretch that out into more meals. I guess the motto is - work less (or not at all), get more. >:-(
whenever I try top post to the thread from my tablet I get another tab pop up that says report abuse! Going to try and reset.
I couldn’t get IHeart to work either. The desktop and laptop are fine,it’s just the tablets. Strange.
IOW all the Android devices....hmmmm.
Good morning n’@!
My 16 year old was quite ironic yesterday...QUITE a lot of “stuff” happening in our little corner of the world. We ALL had already heard of the sex photo controversy the night before...but yesterday, around 9ish all Hell broke loose w/fire sirens. Natural gas was smelled at one of our elementary schools; the building was quickly & safely evacuated. The kidlettes were taken to the HS building (which already had its own media coverage)...the “joke” Not to worry...the elementary kids were kept away from HS Internet access.
Sigh.
1.5 years to go...
I heard about that and wondered if it wasn’t your school district.
Thanks for the link! It was great!
I believe that with the meat. I made beef stew that, for the first time, turned out great (thanks to the help and instructions of others on a cast iron group.) One little pound of meat was all I needed, got enough from the chunk of meat for two more batches. And it was so cheap and easy to do! My brothers loved it. :o)
I dragged out my cast iron dutch oven several months ago. It was all rusty, yucky and grungy in the basement. I cleaned it up and reseasoned it and it looks great and makes a really good pot of stew!
I spent October gathering and cleaning black walnuts. I’ll be cracking those in a couple of weeks. That will be added to our stash for future baking. I also gathered a ton of raspberries from our bushes. They’re in the freezer. I have to get around to making jam and syrup. The way prices are going up (and container sizes are getting smaller), I’m putting back as much as the budget allows!
