WA is facing the same types of dilemnas. The latest is bank and financial institution funding. The banks would love to lend to pot entrepreneurs, but apparently their federal regulation doesn’t allow it.

I don’t know if it was here or someplace else that somebody was complaining about the smell of marijuana in public places in Seattle. They may have been exaggerating, but I have noticed it when I go down there. You notice it on city buses. Obviously people can’t smoke on buses, but it’s like their clothes and hair is saturated with it or something.

Between the marijuana in Seattle and the bikini espresso stands(fronts for prostitution , many of them) in Everett, it’s kind of like Amsterdam .

Mike has a tin ear sometimes. Caller phones in to say how indian gambling has helped a tribe he knows of. Mike constantly interupts him with “humorous” interjections, and misses the point entirely. I’ve seen it. And yes, there are problems with the indian tribe’s legal/tax status, but don’t beat up the caller, take it up with the federal government and Bureau of Indian Affairs.
