Mike has a tin ear sometimes. Caller phones in to say how indian gambling has helped a tribe he knows of. Mike constantly interupts him with “humorous” interjections, and misses the point entirely. I’ve seen it. And yes, there are problems with the indian tribe’s legal/tax status, but don’t beat up the caller, take it up with the federal government and Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Sometimes he doesn’t let the caller get to his/her point at all.

RE: Mike constantly interupts [callers] . . . .

Yes that's irksome and disrespectful of someone hanging on hours(?) to talk to him.

Bill Cunningham does something that's puzzling.. a caller will state a position with a compelling argument. After the caller has made his point Cunningham often jumps in and restates the caller's point as though it was his -- and (it sounds like to me) challenges the caller to prove him wrong.

(It's like Cunningham is not really paying attention and doing somethings as the caller talks.)
