Arkansas cop tasers woman who refuses to show him her breasts: lawsuit
New York Daily News ^ | TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2013 | Lee Moran

Ashlea Bennett says she told uniformed Officer Brandon Carter no — but then he chased her around the building before zapping her repeatedly.

A cop in Arkansas allegedly tasered a woman after she refused to show him her breasts. Ashlea Bennett alleges that uniformed Officer Brandon Carter strutted into her place of work on Dec. 13, 2011, and ordered that she give him a sneak peak of her bosom.

When she declined, he reportedly then chased her around the building before zapping her repeatedly with his electroshock gun. Bennett, who says it was not the first time Carter had asked her the lewd question, is now suing him and the city of Haskell in federal court.

She seeks compensation and punitive damages on charges that include civil rights violations, assault, failure to train and supervise, and negligent supervision.

Bennett also claims Haskell's police department ignored her previous complaints about the officer, reports Court House News.

All of this starts at the top and we are beginning to see the lawlessness of our Police Departments (See Top Cop). Sure hope that someone gets this under control but have little hope until way after things are out of control.

When Federal gets Political and gets away with lawless behavior, why do you not expect locals to do the same?

If this is true, there should be severe penalties.

They’ll say she should have complied with all law enforcement requests.

I hope this results in a huge bust.

That may have been the impetus behind the whole thing to begin with.

Apparently, that’s what started the whole thing.

If this story can be verified as true, not only the officer named in the suit but the police chief should be fired - and the mayor should resign. None of which is likely to happen.

My guess is the town will get the suit thrown out or quietly pay the woman off to leave Haskell and never talk about this incident again. The officer may be fired but more likely suspended for awhile, then quietly returned to duty as if nothing happened.

If a police department is so corrupt that an officer can do this and expect it to not have any ramifications, things must be pretty bad in tiny Haskell, Arkansas.

Did the officer go home safely that night?
That is all that matters, right?

I wonder how the badge kissing crowd are gonna spin this.

Let's see, I imagine they'll trot out one of these little gems:

1. We need to wait for the internal investigation to conclude before rushing to judgment.

2. You weren't there.

3. When a cop gives you an order you COMPLY and appeal it later.

4. Maybe she was hiding drugs or a gun in her bra.

5. Maybe the cop felt threatened.

In any case, you're right, the Police State Loving SHeepers will no doubt be along any moment now to threaten and intimidate on behalf of their brethren.

Arkansas?

Chasing a woman around to get a glimpse of her breasts?

Who does this guy think he is?

State Governor Bill Clinton?
