That is the individual mandate; what about the corporate mandate?

Maybe over 100 million will lose their existing policy or have it changed. Want to bet whether what comes next will be less money?

Over half the country will be on OCare when that happens. That’s why it was delayed. What employer would forgo a $2000 fine versus $6000-$10000 coverage. (Remember OCare requires a larger percent of employer contribution)

Trust me, if and when it reaches critical mass (I’m sure HR departments are scheming on this as we speak) all companies will drop coverage.

“Will Obamacare label the corporate insurance policies inferior resulting in cancellations of corporate policies?”

My best guess is YES — if O’scare lasts that long.

I would like to know if anyone has a complete, official list of all the ACA aka O’scare waivers and delays?

The list changes daily as far as I can tell. So there really IS no operating ACA law. Waivers and delays here and there, just not everywhere. So some animals are more equal than others, and the more equal are the pigs.

I mean the list of waivers and delays compared to the non waivered and the non delayed would probably encite the same amount of Angst and Anger as the cancellations.

If no FReeper has a complete list, I will ask my Senator to subpoena them from Sebelius (if SHE is even in on all of them), the executive branch, etc. BTW my Senator did GREAT at the hearings today.

What makes the waivers and delays official, other than that the executive branch decides to not enforce them?? And if so, how can there even BE a complete and official list??

Please help, Freepers, if you can contribute to this vexing question. Thanking you all in advance!

Servus

Yes, absolutely. In the same exact way that the individual ones were scrapped.

The only difference would be that most employers offered more comprehensive coverage in general because they could spread costs across the budget, and so maybe more of those plans will meet the new requirements.

I didn’t read the delay of the corporate mandate as due to lack of being prepared. I thought it was b/c they knew companies would drop coverage and / or drop employees to part time to avoid it. The ensuing financial ruin on peoples’ lives would have more negatively effected the dems at the ballot box yesterday....

I personally know a daycare owner who employs well over 100 workers. These are poor, immigrant ladies working 50 hours a week plus extra jobs. Because a low profit margin business like daycares cannot pay to subsidize this insurance, the owner is going to drop them to part time. Besides these people losing a large percent of their income, they will probably now get Medicare. Free stuff for people who were heretofore not on the dole. Also, from a business owner perspective, what incentive is there to expand and manage hundreds of part time workers? Impossible. Bad, all around.

Correct me if I’m wrong,...
Obamacare is a tax according to the Supreme Court. Obama has (without legal basis) chosen to forgive this tax for big business. By doing so he has passed this tax burden onto the employees of big business as an “individual mandate”. Is this the biggest tax break in history to big business? And at the same time forcing employees to pay the corporate tax?

Yes. That's the fun for next year -- just before the Congressional elections!
