It happened again. Three months after a rodeo clown mocked the president at the Missouri State Fair, fans at a Missouri-Tennessee football game Sunday booed when Barack Obamas name was mentioned during a halftime ceremony.
New members of the Missouri National Guard were being sworn in, said Chad Moller, spokesman for University of Missouri-Columbia athletics.
But during part of the oath that reads I will obey the order of the president of the United States members of the crowd could be heard booing, according to the Missourian.

proud of my home state , he deserves to be boo’d
I guess he made the right decision not going to fenway.
But during part of the oath that reads I will obey the order of the president of the United States members of the crowd could be heard booing, according to the Missourian.
Has that part about obeying the president always been part of the oath?
I’ve heard it twice now, but always thought it was protect and defend the Constitution. I’d like to be more informed. Thanks.
Long way from “Barack Hussin Obama mmm, mmm, mmm”. ;-)
Hoo-ray!!
Oh well
Sounds like a whole football stadium full of people are in need of some sensitivity training. Every Saturday, 8 am - 4 pm for 16 weeks should do.
My dormitory on campus there was right across the street fromt he stadium. The team was mediocre, but I could always tell when Delpino scored. Those boos would reach a fait amount of dorm space on that campus.
It is...for the enlisted oath at least...
What did Delpino do to merit booing?
Chuckle. I heard cheering for Delpino. Booing was usually reserved for calls against the Tigers.
Those crowd members disrespected the proud men and women of our nations great military, the President of the United States and the upstanding citizens of Missouri,
No, the only one they disrespected was the clown prince resident of the white house. I am always left flabbergasted by these partisan crybabies. These are the same @sshats that called Bush vile names, accused him of murder and openly called for his assassination, but say the slightest negative about their deity obamarmadingdong and they go nuclear.
Tigers are good this year, ranked #9? I was driving past Columbia last month on a Sat. on my way to points west, must have been a home game, I saw lots of cars with stripey tails sticking out of the trunk!
Thanks. Perhaps it should say the “constitutional” orders of the President.
Democrats may need the clarification.
PS Every time I drive by that Hooters off 70 I say to myself, `Self, next time you’ll stop.’
Well, this is nothing, really. I boo, if only in my mind, every time I THINK of the POS.
The enlisted oath yes, commissioned oath of office, no.
