Little more than a week after millions of consumers received health care cancellation notices, lawmakers in both parties are pushing legislation to redeem President Obama’s pledge that anyone can keep their existing coverage under the nation’s controversial new law.

In the Republican-controlled House, officials say a vote is likely as early as next week on a bill to let insurers continue selling any individual policies that were in effect on Jan. 1, 2013, even if they provide coverage deemed insufficient under Obamacare.

Yep, this is what Republicans do. Instead of being diametrically opposed to liberalism, they want to fix it or think they can run it better. No Republican should be trying to put mayonnaise on this s—t sandwich.
The only Dems that are on board are likely ones that are planning to run for reelection in 2014.

If they let insurance companies continue to sell policies that predate 2013, then the only people signing up for Obamacare is the people from states that didn’t take medicaid.
That would effectively kill Obamacare because there are no new funds to support it.
Agree. And whatever they do, Obama has created chaos in people’s lives and in a large segment of the economy. This should be tied around the Dims’ necks and lit on fire. The Republicans need to back off, keep pointing out the absurdities, and let the public watch as Dims struggle to put Humpty back together.
This was the bill that was voted down in 2010?
