After a national backlash from social conservatives, the American Psychiatric Association (ASA) has dropped its designation of pedophilia as a “sexual orientation.”
In May, the APA released the Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). In this document, the first new edition in 10 years, the APA described pedophilia as a sexual “orientation.”
The classification went largely unnoticed until last month, when the NeonTommy blog of the Annenberg Digital News at the University of Southern California published a blog post critical of the terminology.
Social conservatives said calling pedophilia an “orientation” was a step towards normalizing pedophiliac behavior.
But within days, the APA changed the classification, noting in a press release “'Sexual orientation' is not a term used in the diagnostic criteria for pedophilic disorder and its use in the DSM-5 text discussion is an error and should read 'sexual interest.’”
The APA said the unwelcome attention from conservative Christians helped them turn out a more precise and accurate guide.

APA just found out the hard way americans haven't been sufficiently softened to accept the progressive's next "civil rights" crusade.
Don’t worry.... they just jumped the gate. It will be back... maybe 5, 10, 15 years.... but it will be back... and it will be passed.
Yup. It’s hard to chalk this up to an error when we already know they had APA officials attending that conference last year where the pedophiles lobbied them for exactly this change.

I told some of my friends that were telling me I hate fags that they will want to legalize pedophilia. I got laughed at. God please let me live long enough that I will make them eat their words.
Even too many liberals considered pedophilia a Bad Thing. They aren’t yet to the point where NOTHING evil disgusts them.
We should love fags and hate the evil that turns them into fags.

I don’t hate fags, I just don’t believe that they are right or normal. The ones I hate are the ones that preach tolerance then are hateful when you say anything to disrespect gays. Like that “Wanda Sykes” bitch and those commercials she did a few years back, yea I hate her.
Or the ones that are hateful of Christians. I don’t know any fags , but I’ve met a couple and I always get the impression that there is something very wrong with their minds. They seem to be the most hateful and vile people I’ve ever met.
Fags represent a set of capabilities which, in God’s hands, would be great virtues — given to Satan to use.
