Iran: The U.S. Cavalry is NOT coming (Israelis know Iran clock is running out fast)
Times of Israel ^ | 11/5/13 | Adam Turner

Posted on 11/05/2013 12:24:58 PM PST by Dave346

The endgame is upon us.

The IAEA is not known for reckless rhetoric, and is not considered especially favorable to Israel. According to this former IAEA official, Iran will have a nuclear bomb within the next month, if not within two weeks (if they rush).

Prime Minister Netanyahu has declared, repeatedly, that Israel will not allow the Islamist regime of Iran to produce nuclear weapons. There is good reason for this – the Iranian regime has made no secret of its genocidal hatred of Jews and its desires to wipe Israel off the face of the map. It is the premiere state sponsor of international terrorism, and much of that terrorism has been directed against Israelis and Jews. Through its proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas, it has killed hundreds of Israelis, including men, women, and children.

The United States, under President Obama, plans to, once again, talk to the Iranian government. We have been talking to this government for over two decades, but this time, according to President Obama, the new, “moderate” Iranian President is a man we can deal with. Even though President Rouhani is not actually the “moderate” that President Obama claims he is. Even though Rouhani has already admitted he has repeatedly lied to the Western World about the Iranian nuclear program. Even though Rouhani is not actually the real leader of Iran, and the real leader, the Ayatollah Khamenei, has been very open and up front about his extreme hatred of Israel, the U.S., and Western values of freedom of speech, religion, etc.

The U.S., under President Obama, will do nothing but talk to Iran. The military option – regardless of what President Obama has said in the past – is off the table. If we didn’t know this before, we know it now, after Syria, where President Obama drew a “red line” on chemical weapons and then ignored its violation.

In fact, through the process of negotiations, the Obama Administration is only going to make things worse. It is pushing the U.S. Congress to step back from imposing new sanctions on the Iran, even though the impact of prior sanctions are what originally pressured Iran to implement its pretend “moderate” campaign. The Obama Administration is also considering the release of billions of dollars of frozen Iranian funds as a “reward” for the pretend “moderate” campaign, which will allow Iran to stave off its economic collapse and continue funding the Assad regime’s murderous actions in Syria.

There is nothing surprising about this, since President Obama’s instincts on foreign policy are almost always wrong, and he can usually be trusted to make the wrong decision on a matter of foreign policy.

The European Union will also do nothing but pursue more fruitless negotiations with the Iranians. Then again, they never seemed to care much about the threat of Iranian nuclear weapons. The EU has never been able to completely restrain European nations from undermining economic sanctions on Iran. And with their increasing economic troubles, and their rising levels of anti-Semitism, they certainly aren’t likely to be bothered by Iranian saber rattling against Jews or Israel. They also are seemingly willing to ignore the Iranian threat to Saudi Arabia, and other neighboring Middle Eastern nations, which might plunge the region into a war that might collapse the world oil industry.

Prime Minister Netanyahu needs to understand all of this.

There is no U.S., or any other, “cavalry” on the way. Israel is the only nation with the will, and the ability, to deal with the Iranian nuclear threat.

And the clock is now two weeks to midnight.

We need to be of prayer. This article is spot on. The only thing not mentioned is that US Jews don't care! US Jews are idolatrous whores who love Liberalism more than they love their Creator. The clock is ticking and time is running out. Obama will never do anything. Europe would never do anything. The state of Israel sands alone with their Creator.

IIRC correctly OB declared that he would not let Iran have the bomb. Or was that just another lie?

Now or never for Israel. If it doesn’t happen before 2014 it never will.

I certainly can't be mistaken for an Obama supporter, but George Bush could have acted too. Bush was unable to withstand the withering criticism from the Left over Iraq and Afghanistan and therefore chose to do nothing about Iran when he could have and should have.

Meanwhile, Obama is too busy sitting around with his thumb up his *ss, promoting homosexuality in the services, crowing to his constituents about all the freebies he’s handing out to them by confiscating the wages of those few Americans who still work, and playing golf to worry about nuclear weapons in the hands of the maniacal Iranians.

Dig your shelter deep; courtesy of our feckless president, 2014 is going to be even worse than 2013, if such a thing can even be imagined.

Given Iran’s past and actions in the early 00s, I would have attacked them rather than Iran.

I agreed with Afghan, so I think Bush was too tied up to do more.

Remember carter and reagan didn’t do anything either.

They have been chest thumping and threatening since 1979. I think we should take that at their word that they would destroy Israel and start kicking some serious butt or support the Israelis while they attack.

Great point. All it took was a globe and a bit of common sense to understand why Bush wanted to invade Iraq so much. It had nothing to do with regime change or WMD’s. Iran is the most dangerous state in the region, and with US troops on both sides, they were pretty much hamstrung. They likely had the technology for some time to develop a nuke. Is it really a coincidence that they are about to do so AFTER we drawn down troop levels in neighboring countries?

Israel needs to understand that the US under Obama will not fight Iran for them, will not assist Israel to fight Iran, will not even sit quietly on the sidelines. The Obama controlled US will stick a leg out to trip Israel whenever it seems like Israel may strike. It will throw marbles under Israel's feet to impede Israel's self-defense efforts.

The Liberal Americans Jews are too far away from the violence threat that Israeli Jews experience. Those here can afford to flirt with the enemy. History repeats. Those who appease terrorists because they think they won’t be turned on, are useful idiots. The enemy will come for them. Who will stand for the useful idiots then?

"There is nothing surprising about this, since President Obama’s instincts on foreign policy are almost always wrong, and he can usually be trusted to make the wrong decision on a matter of foreign policy."

Actually, I disagree with this. Obama's foreign policy decisions are almost always right - from the viewpoint of a Marxist Muslim enemy of the West. His decisions almost always advance Islamic causes or weaken the US or both.
