Thread for discussion of tonight's VA Gov Elecitons Result. Is this too early?
I think, but need to check, Fairfax had about half a mil votes in 2012.
I mean he couldn’t beat a raging liberal in Virginia.

It’s about votes. More Federal employees and NorthernVA is a hotbed commuting area for Feds.

Drove by my polling place this evening on the way home. This morning I could have sworn I saw a tumbleweed roll by, with mournful, lonely harmonica music in the background. Maybe three voters, myself included.
This evening, the lot was PACKED.

He knows its a rat win. I think he is getting more cozy with establishment dems and rhinos so they share goodies with him. He is not at politico level insider status yet but is moving that direction. IMHO
So another Red state is lost? We’re running low on those.
If Cuccinelli was going to go down I have the sense he was happy to do it his way and go to go down in a blaze of glory.
He was lousy. He let Mcauliffe define him.

Are Democrats allowed to vote more than once in some places?
If Cuccinelli loses, then it’s over. I still would say we’ll win in 2014 (Obama’s plummeting approval), but I just can’t see anyone sane winning a presidential election until the inevitable 2030 debt crisis.
