My mistake. It’s still stuck on 7 outstanding. If good guy is up by 7,000 with 7 precincts yet to report, seems like there is not that enough votes for the dem to catch him.

The ex-chief of staff for House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) helped Democrat Terry McAuliffe beat Republican Ken Cuccinelli in Virginia’s gubernatorial election race.

Boyd Marcus, the chief of staff for Cantor until 2003—who later teamed with another GOP operative Ray Allen to found the firm Marcus Allen, which Cantor employed until earlier this year—joined the McAuliffe campaign after Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, with whom Marcus campaigned, did not win the GOP nominee in Virginia.

“I was looking at the candidates, and I saw Terry McAuliffe as the guy who will work with everybody to get things done,” Marcus told the Associated Press in August when he joined McAuliffe’s campaign.

And in the Socialist Republic of Seattle they just elected a sodomite as mayor. His “spouse” was just asked the if he/she would like to be referred to as the “first wife” or “first husband”! He/she giggled and I almost threw up a good beer.

Color me ignorant but why does it take these last seven longer to report than the whole rest of the state combined?

A.P. has it
Attorney General - General
2534 of 2541 Precincts Reporting - 99%
Name Party Votes Vote %
Obenshain, Mark GOP 1,096,220 50%
Herring, Mark Dem 1,095,056 50%

secretary of state has “unofficial “ 7,000 vote difference frozen for an hour with less vote totals
WTVR-TV has 12,000 vote difference all for the (R)frozen for an hour with less votes totals than A.P.
take your pick

1,096,220 Obenshain (+1,164)
1,095,056 Herring

I’m guessing Bedford counties last precinct just reported because Obenshain’s lead jumped up about 400 votes.

Well since we can all see this happening is anyone doing anything to stop it? Obviously they're waiting til later to do their dirty deed in the dead of night but there's got to be some way to protest or call foul.

"We need to go Alinsky on the GOPe -- they must be humiliated and crushed."

Why do you write GOPe? Pardon my ignorance! (why the extra lower-case "e" after standard abbreviation?)

I'm also curious why you and others would want to use "Alinsky" tactics? Far as I've heard, those are the brutal "rules for radicals" espoused by evil people that will do anything to subjugate those who disagree with them in any way, and thereby gain/keep total authority and power for themselves, regardless of consequences for anyone else, majority or minority. (Case in point: President/King Obama and his Administration minions. It's nothing but "divide, conquer, slime the opposers, fool and appease the ignorant, defer the 'rule-making' to the agency appointees, elections have consequences, executive orders", etc.)

Then, I'm also wondering why you would want to humiliate and crush other people who are likely to have much more in common with your ideals than the "Marxist RAT party"?

Just wondering! I'm a registered GOP voter, and I'm sure I am no happier in this handbasket than you or any other Freeper...it seems we should be on the same side, but I guess it just depends on where you live, maybe?!

“Sessions to Republicans: GOP Elite View on Immigration Is ‘Nonsense’”

I still see it a bit like 88Keys, team play but if the GOPe as said in this thread, didn’t help out Cuccinelli then the GOPe threw down the gauntlet to begin with. I’m sure similar types of things have happened as well. Treatment of Lee and Cruz, Palin and so on.
