I think you are exactly right.

It has been very disappointing to find out the GOPe hates us just as much as the Dems do. A pox on both their houses.

What this race should show them is that a Tea Party candidate can indeed win an election in a battleground state, but it takes everyone’s full support for it to happen.

Instead, we will see them all over the news tomorrow shouting that the Tea Party is dead and that only RINOs can win. How I loathe them.

I think its because there is no Sarvis in the other races.

Two leftists split the vote for Governor

One of my Dem friends just despaired that Cuccinelli was going to win. I had to ‘splain him about the urban precincts.

Other areas of concern besides Fairfax are primarily the “City” results: Portsmouth City, Norfolk City, Richmond City, Newport News, Charlottesville, Alexandria City, and Loudoun County

“Starting to look bad”

my memory of VA in 2006 says that Mcauliff should win except that turnout will be different for a odd year race vs. and even year race.

Plus, 2006 was a democrat wave year which is not the case.

My prediction is a tie and a RECOUNT.

Uhhmm, may I remind you everyone has voted...it is a matter of counting the votes only. It is a matter of counting what has already occurred.

Split tickets are common in Virginia. In 2001, the Dems won Gov and Lt. Gov while the GOP won AG. In 2005, the Dems won Gov while the GOP won Lt. Gov and AG.

They don’t need to “steal” it. VA. is lost to all of the govt employees. Va. is blue, sadly.
