Thread for discussion of tonight's VA Gov Elecitons Result. Is this too early?
A coworker told me Short Pump was heavy. They were also voting against the meals tax.
And you can bet the RAT operatives are shiteing themselves tonight...this will scare them and force them to do stupid stuff in the mid-terms if it looks like people are taking their frustration about Obamacare out on the DEMs.
Same story, turnout is slightly higher, Ken is doing worse by about 5-6% of McDonnell and in the Kilgore range, but McCauliffe is not getting any better numbers than Deeds and nowhere near Kaine.
This Sarvis effect is really interesting. Seems to be hurting TM in the red areas.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$....and no promises...it is in the bank.. repeat after me...s.....o.....r....o....s
I don’t believe it promotes freedom to suggest someone is at fault simply for running for an office. The voters have their choice and the government has the choice to have some form of run-off voting, so no one can win with under 50% of the vote. It’s dereliction of electoral duty to certify anyone a winner unless they had 50% + 1 of the voters pick them.
Stupid autocorrect: I SAW Mcweasel
Don’t see much use in looking at the 2012 numbers instead of 2009’s.
Cooch had to spend what little money he had in the big districts. He had nothing to spend in the areas that vote Republican.

Fascinating shift: James City County voted for McDonnell over Deeds 66-34 in 2009, but Cuccinelli over McAuliffe only by 51-42. #VaGov”
This election was all about M-O-N-E-Y, and the big pocket government cronies gave McAuliffe plenty.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Cooch was outspent by 3 to 1.
Per CNN
70 percent in
48 C
45 McDickhead
Yes Fairfax is a big one; I’m looking for other big strongholds for each.
Thanks! Hoping NOT to hear the word “recount”.
70% reporting???!!!
We may win this thing. Hold on to your hats!
That is GOOD news
71% reporting per Drudge
CUCCINELLI 48.1%
MCAULIFFE 45.0%
Don't Fairfax Loudoun !!! (I always loved that :)
It’s the usual setup with Christie, foist a “moderate” on Republicans and watch them sit the election out.
Dems win by default ;-(
70% reporting???!!!
We may win this thing. Hold on to your hats!

YES!
I believe a Cooch win sign also a turning of the tide. I’m having a hard time believing it is this close..
Using your chart to compare the Gov and Lt Gov results, I get the impression that Sarvis is pulling votes from McCauliff rather than C. A lot of Dems would rather die than vote for a a Republican; are we seeing a Dem protest vote against sleazebag McC?
I’m praying...Lord, please
