“Free” Republic is NOT free in any sense of the word. They have cyber bullies who slander anyone who dares depart from the party script.
Some character named “humble gunner” will harass and libel you and use “freeper” jargon like “pimp” if you dare speak an original thought.
When reported to admin moderator you will be called a “TROLL” and all posts deleted.
This after donating around a hundred bucks over a 4 year period.

- There’s been a “my way or the highway” mindset around here for a while now. Quite a few have chosen the “highway”, taking their support with them.
- Once you slaughter the Kulaks, they don’t produce grain for you anymore.
- have seen very little of the niceness and tolerance you cite during the past month.
- The tone has reminded me of a pack of hyenas viciously turning on anyone who speaks truth, however unflattering, of the candidate de jour. Attacks on the truth and calls for censorship from any side of the political spectrum are not healthy. I do give, but I’m not giving one dime more until I see the tone change around here. Many have decided not to wait for the tone to change. They’re gone and they’ve taken their support with them. Why should they put up with the abuse? I hope some lessons will be learned through this.
- When you ban opinions and opposing posts why on earth would many members and lurkers donate? When the least offense (and who knows what will offend any given member of the goon squad on any given day might be) results in being browbeaten and harassed if not finally “Zotted” by a bunch of so called “adults” who run around high fiving each other when they “find” some poster that isn’t towing the line…according to them, people leave.
- This site used to be interesting. Maybe that is why people still stick around. Even if I did not agree with someone ( I mostly read), I would never tattletale, and post pictures of lightning or Viking kitties.
I would say that there are about 10 -15 people here,( and we all know who they are), that never grew up past the mean boy or girl stage in high school.
If my statement gets me zotted, so be it.
