Carson is pro-amnesty
Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
No.
I would go for that.
It's too early to choose anyone. One thing, for sure. I want someone who's a proven winner for constitutional conservatives, stands by Ted Cruz, and can lead and win elections, and has done so.
And don't come to me with because Ted Cruz was born in Canada. I got a news flash for you. Ted Cruz's mother was a natural born US Citizen when she gave birth to her son
...and meanwhile the rats are putting in place their mechanisms to cheat to win.
first thing, right out of the barrel...... a self righteousist whines about the lack of Christ like conservative purity.
You got Obama elected.
Well Jay, How would you like a Ted Cruz/Dr. Ben Carson ticket?

Well, first of all, he has to want to run. Second the nominee can choose who he wants for his running mate, and that person can accept or decline
I don’t think that’s necessarily true this time.
Cruz has a big bump so far.
Let’s keep defending him. He’s got real good exposure thus far.
George Romney was born in Mexico and was allowed to run for Pres in ‘68, so precsedent already set way before Obama
Col. West has exec experience.
I could also go for that.
On the McLaughlin group yesterday Chris Matthews and Eleanor Clift were put off the Cruz is not eligible argument by John (WRONG!) McLaughlin
They both said Cruz was too radical, but if they liked him it would not be good
We have to always recall that the other side is not about what’s good for the country and they will hate. And they’re probably worse than ever
Ben Carson is nice, but, no.
Agreed. We don’t want Dr. Carson ending up like Herman Cain, gaining a lot of support until skeletons come out of the closet.
First of all, George Romney lost the nomination, but secondly, and more important, there is nobody who can "allow" or "not allow" someone to "run for President".
In fact, in the Constitution, there's no such thing as "running for President" (except in the incredibly poorly drafted XXII Amendment).
ANYBODY can "run for President". In fact, I believe that an Elector for President or Vice President can VOTE for anyone he likes, including a non-NBC, a ten year old, a resident of Indonesia, etc.
Someone who has RUN AND BEEN ELECTED but who is not QUALIFIED cannot be inaugurated and cannot exercise the powers of the office, but the sole judge and guardian of THAT is Congress, and, as with so many other of their functions, they have abdicated.
Top seats to Conservatives is a great idea. However, without ligislative support, they are mere figureheads, for the most part.
Real change will require veto proof majorities in Congress, coupled with a will to change the course of this republic.
I like Carson’s stances on Obamacare, but he seems rather unvetted on other pertinent issues. If he’s anything less than pro-2nd Amendment, he’s a non-starter for me.
