Just as Erdogan did in Turkey, to prevent a coup, Obama is making sure that he is safe from that here, as well. It would be an unprecedented move here, but not in the ME. However, Obama is making sure that it cannot happen. He has found that people are afraid of Chicago-style threats so he can pretty much do as he pleases. IE. John Roberts, etc. who have been publicly warned not to come against Obama’s will. But, you realize that the democratic party does not see their leader as anything but a very successful man, as they have no problem with his methods. As someone spoke on Sirius radio today, a leftist that is, called in to say that he was pleased to always be in the winning party, drinking the champagne of success. He ridiculed the republicans for the tea party, saying that they’d never see success as long as the tea party had any influence. Democrats see winning as the only thing and the methods do not matter. Killing? Whatever it takes. Bribing? Whatever it takes. Of course, if it was a republican doing such, then it is wrong...but not a democrat. We are living in deadly times. Soon they will come for all of us for one reason or another. There will be no neighbor who will speak out for us b/c of fear that they would be next, or that they see nothing wrong...if we’re being tortured/imprisoned, we must deserve this. This is what it is coming to, I’m afraid.

Well said. As for the ‘weakening’ part, a quality officer can triple the value of his forces and in rare instances make his forces even more effective than that. This is an outrage.
We will need not only a patriotic commander in chief, but also one willing to counter-purge the military. This would scare the left beyond belief because such a president would be popular with the troops. It would also concern me. Such a president would have tremendous defacto power. Only the future president’s integrity would stand in the way of weilding it. But Obama is making it necessary.

That is the reality of it. as long as they move slow, they WILL succeed.
Revolt is coming and it has started, though peaceful. Folks are slowly turning against Obama.
